Leaving Broome we headed south to Port Smith for a few days. The owners here are very friendly and helpful and the park is well set out. The midges can get bad here but the owners have that under control with fumigating of an afternoon. They have a couple of regular visitors roaming the park, a couple of kangaroos and some frilled neck lizards.

Port Smith
From Port Smith we took a day trip to Saddle Hill Cliffs, the ocean was putting on quite a show for us. We sat at the table there and just watched the waves crashing.

Eighty mile Beach Caravan Park is a lovely well maintained, grassed oasis half way between Broome and Port Headland. It is well known for shell collecting. I spent some time strolling along the beach looking at shells and found some nice ones too.
