After leaving Paronella Park we headed out to the Mamu Tropical Skywalk. Nice easy walking on the tracks, even good for wheelchairs.
The lookout at the end of the track is about 4 stories higher again overlooking the East Johnson River and the canopy of Rainforest. Kev wasn’t keen to walk up to the top but he eventually did and the view was awesome.
We drove in to Innisfail to pick up our mail then on through Mossman to Wonga Beach visit some friends. Had a great stay with Ted and Narelle. Ted and his mate Scott took Kev and I out reef fishing. Kev hooked a 15 foot Tiger Shark and fought it for 45 minutes then cut the line when we saw what it was. We ended up catching 15 Coral Trout between us. So nice to eat.

Mossman Gorge is not far away so a visit was called for. You park your car then they take you up to the base of the Gorge by bus and you walk up the tracks along the gorge. Just beautiful. The water is so very clear and cold, you can swim there if you are game.

Now on to Cooktown. The lookout here is always quite windy but a great view.

Our friends joined us again and we traveled together up through Hopevale and on to Elim Beach. The boys took Teds quad up the beach for an explore and had a bit of fun.
